Tecno Spark 8T Design
Tecno Spark series has provided a high value-for-money ratio. One of the new launches is the Tecno Spark 8T, which packs a couple of upgrades from its predecessor. The new Tecno Spark smartphone flaunts a 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2408 pixels) display with a 91.3 percent screen-to-body ratio and 500 nits peak brightness. There is a waterdrop notch at the front to house the selfie camera sensor. The design is pretty basic as we see in this segment, ideal for single-hand use.
Tecno Spark 8T Hardware Performance
Under the hood, the Tecno Spark 8T draws power from the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC which is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage that can be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot. The Helio G35 chipset is commonly used in this segment, offering the basic smartphone experience. The 4GB RAM is pretty good for the asking price, ensuring it can handle routine tasks without a glitch. That said, it would have been better if there was another model to choose from.
Tecno Spark 8T Camera Performance
The new Tecno Spark 8T features a dual-camera setup at the rear with a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.6 aperture. The other sensor includes an AI lens which is paired with a quad-LED flash. The rear camera features include AI Beauty, AI Portrait, Time-lapse, Slow Motion, Video Bokeh, and many more. One of the unique features of the Tecno Spark 8T is the 8MP selfie camera which is accompanied by a dual flash, allowing you to take some stunning selfies.
Tecno Spark 8T Price-To-Specs Ratio
The Tecno Spark 8T comes in a single 4GB RAM + 64GB configuration which costs Rs. 8,999. The smartphone has upped the competition in the sub-Rs. 10,000 segment, which is crowded by brands like Infinix, Micromax, Realme, and so on. That said, the Tecno Spark 8T offers some unique features like the 8MP selfie camera with flash.
Tecno Spark 8T Important Features/Highlights
Apart from this, the new Tecno Spark 8T packs a 5,000 mAh battery which comes with ultrapower-saving mode. The phone is claimed to offer up to 38 days standby time, and up to 40 hours of calling time. It packs the usual connectivity options and runs Android 11 OS with the custom skin on top. This brings in pre-loaded apps and other bloatware.
Tecno Spark 8T Verdict
Overall, the Tecno Spark 8T comes as a good entry into the Indian market. That said, competition from brands like Motorola, Realme, and others make it tough for the smartphone. For one, other phones in the same price segment offer AMOLED displays, larger batteries, and so. Make sure you check out the competition before getting this phone.
