The Umi Plus E was launched in March, 2017. The handset is built using quality components. Its "6000 Series" Aluminum alloy design coupled with an anodic oxidation process makes the phone feel incredible in the hand. With a perfect combination of a 2.5D front panel and a metal unibody design, it offers an elegant and refined design. The phone features a high color saturation 95% NTSC gamut SHARP display of 5.5 inch size, with 17% better overall color saturation for a richer viewing experience. The screen resolution is of 1080 x 1920 pixels and display type is of IPS LCD. The smartphone makes use of an octa core MediaTek MT6757 processor, that is coupled with Mali-T880 MP2 GPU, 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. This storage can be expanded up to another 256GB with the help of a microSD card. It offers 15 hours time for gaming, 17 hours video play, 48 hours 4G call, 121 hours music play and standby time for 13 to 15 days. It runs Android 6.0(Marshmallow), out of the box. The fingerprint sensor works incredibly faster, unlocking the phone in 0.1 second. Other sensors include g- sensor, glonass, p- sensor, l-sensor, accelerometer, compass, gyroscope and hall switch.
