Vivo V19: Design
The Vivo V19 looks a lot like the Vivo V17, which was launched in India a few months before, except for one small change. Instead of a single punch-hole display, the Vivo V19 has a pill-shaped dual punch-hole design to house two selfie cameras. The Vivo V19 uses a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution with minimal bezels across all four sides. As this is an AMOLED display, it is great for watching movies and playing games. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor, which is fast and accurate.
Vivo V19: Hardware Performance
The Vivo V19 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC, the same processor that powers the Vivo V17. This mid-range processor is known for its efficiency and can easily offer an all-day battery life on a single charge. Additionally, the phone offers 8GB RAM and 128GB storage with a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage expansion. The Vivo V19 can handle normal day-to-day tasks like watching movies and browsing social media apps without any issue. Similarly, it can also handle heavy gaming, thanks to 8GB RAM and the powerful mid-tier Andreno GPU on the Snapdragon 712 SoC.
Vivo V19: Camera Performance
The Vivo V19 has a quad-camera setup at the back, similar to some of the mid-range smartphones at this price. The primary camera setup is lead by a 48MP primary sensor, then, there is an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. Lastly, there is a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. The device has a dual selfie camera setup with a 32MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. The wide-angle lens will help to take group selfies and the main sensor can capture images with a lot of details.
Vivo V19: Price To Specs Ratio
The Vivo V19 retails for Rs. 27,999 and for the asking price, the phone offers 8GB RAM and 128GB storage along with a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage expansion. For the set of hardware it offers, The Vivo V19 seems a bit expensive, especially when compared to the devices like the Redmi Note 9 Pro or the Realme 6 Pro. However, unlike some of the mid-range smartphones, the Vivo V19 does offer some interesting features like an AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor for keeping the device secure and the phone can also be unlocked using face recognition.
Vivo V19: Important Features/Highlights
The Vivo V19 is fueled by a 4,500 mAh battery and the phone ships with a 33W quick charging adapter in the retail package. Unlike most of the mid-range smartphone, the retail package of the Vivo V19 does include a wired 3.5mm headphone as well. The smartphone runs on Android 10 OS with custom FunTouch OS skin on top, giving users a lot of options for optimizations. However, the device does come with a bunch of 3rd-party apps, which cannot be uninstalled.
Vivo V19: Verdict
The Vivo V19 for the asking price has to compete against the Galaxy A series of smartphones, which also happen to offer features like in-display fingerprint sensor and AMOLED screen. However, for those who want a more selfie-camera centric device, the Vivo V19 could be a great option to consider.

Rating a smartphone is a tedious process and a lot of parameters have to be considered before judging the overall performance of the device such as display, camera, processor, RAM, storage, battery, and the pricing.
So, here are how these specs will affect the real-life usage of a device and why how we meticulously consider each of these points to rate a smartphone.
Cameras have evolved a lot over the last few years and multi-camera setup is a new norm. We consider various parameters like MP count, aperture size, pixel size, image stabilization to rate a camera system of a smartphone out of 5. Any device that scores more than 3.5 can take good photos and videos and if a phone scores over 4, then it will be one of the best camera smartphones in the market.
Though battery seems like an underrated feature and we look at the battery capacity, fast charging supporting technology, and even the wireless charging capability is also taken into consideration to rate smartphone's battery capability.
The display is the face of a smartphone. And there are a lot of parameters like the panel technology (IPS LCD, OLED, TFT) and other parameters also taken into consideration like the resolution, pixel density, and refresh rate.
A smartphone could have great specs, but if it is not priced well then you might not get the best value-for-money. So, we compare a smartphone with the contemporaries to rate the value-for-money of a device out of 5.
This aspect is decided on various sub specifics, such as availability of microSD card slot, the amount of RAM the device offers, processor capability, and the network support. This parameter has more weightage when compared to other departments.
