Vivo Y20G: Design

Vivo’s latest offering in its budget-oriented ‘Y’ smartphone lineup comes in the form of the Vivo Y20G. The device comes with an iridescent back panel comprising a vertical camera module on the top-left corner. The back panel reflects a sunrise pattern with light rays falling on it. The Vivo Y20G bestows a big 6.5-inch display. It is an IPS LCD that supports 720 x 1600 pixels HD+ resolution and has a 20:9 aspect ratio. It sports a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera and has narrow borders; except for the chin. The large panel size will complement 720p videos well and you will enjoy the video playback on the go.

Driving the tasks on the Vivo Y20G is the MediaTek Helio G80 processor. The octa-core 2GHz processor combined ARM Mali-G52 GPU to render the graphics. The processor is further aided by 6GB RAM for all the multitasking at hand. The Y20G is announced with a native storage capacity of 128GB which is ample for general files, images, and videos as well. The Vivo Y20G comes as another affordable offering by the Chinese brand in India. It is like a mixed bag when it comes to an overall package. The handset has a decent display and camera hardware which allows for a good multimedia experience. The device also has a mid-range processor which will allow for a good user experience overall. If only the pricing was tagged below Rs. 14,990 price mark, it would have made for a better deal.
