The Vivo Y71 was launched on 13th April, 2018. The mobile comes with face access feature which scans the facial features to unlock it. With a screen-to-body ratio of over 84 percent, the phone is fitted with 5.99 inch IPS LCD display with resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. The display also feature an aspect ratio of 18:9, giving perfect viewing angle for videos, movies and games. The smartphone makes use of an octa core Qualcomm SDM450 Snapdragon 450 processor, that is coupled with Adreno 506 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32 GB default memory capacity. This storage can be expanded up to another 128GB with the help of a microSD card. The Y71 sports 13MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and 5MP selfie camera comes with Artificial Intelligence (AI) "Face Beauty" feature.

       The connectivity aspects on board include wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n, wifi direct, DLNA, hotspot, v4.2, A2DP, LE, microUSB v2.0, USB OTG, with A-GPS and dual sim. The Y71 is fuelled by a non-removable Li-Ion 3300 mah battery. It runs Android 8.1(Oreo), out of the box. Sensors include accelerometer, proximity and compass.
