The Vivo Y83 is launched in India. The phone sports a 6.22-inch FullView 2.5D curved display,  with 19:9 aspect ratio and 720 x 1520 pixels resolution. It is powered by an Mediatek's Helio octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with Adreno GPU, 4GB RAM and 32GB default storage. This storage can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. In the camera department, it offers a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens and an LED flash. When it comes to video, the Y83 is capable of shooting up to Full HD resolution videos at 30fps. The front-facing camera is an 8MP unit with AI Beauty feature that uses artificial intelligence to provide users with customizable beauty effects.


In terms of connectivity the Y83 includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, FM radio, and 4G VoLTE. The battery capacity of the smartphone is 3260mAh and it runs Android 8.1(Oreo) out of the box, with custom Funtouch OS skin 4.0 on top. The phone also comes with the Face Access 2.0 feature that lets you unlock it easily by scanning your face with the front-facing camera. In addition it is equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well. Other sensors include accelerometer, proximity, compass, gravity sensor and gyro.


    The phone is available in market in White, Black and Red colors. The Vivo Y83 is priced at Rs.14,990 for 4GB and 32GB variant.
