Yes, this year too its going to be all about smartphones, werables and more. Consequently, we bring you a complete list of all the companies who plan to demonstrate their new technologies to fire up the smartphone market competition with their releases. Some are confirmed announcement while others are gleaned from rumors based on the companies' teasing statements.

Recently, Samsung posted a live stream and countdown for its upcoming Unpacked 2015 event scheduled for March 1st.

The Galaxy S6, Samsung's next major release, is expected to be arriving in two different variants: the one with a 5.1-inch QHD screen, and the one with a dual edge curved screen - with the standard model to be made available first.

Going by the rumors, the device could sport a glass front and back and metal sides and it's clear this is the standard model without a dual curved display. Notably, the home button seems to be slightly larger and rounder, meanwhile, the back camera module to have different positioning. Well, this test device appears to be an earlier model that may have gone radical changes, but it's certain that the very handset is none other than the Samsung Galaxy S6.

While the flagship successor Samsung Galaxy S6 is said to take the centre stage next week, rumors are also rife that its Edge variant will also be uncovered at the same event. Samsung itself practically confirmed the existence of a new 'edge' device, and expectations are that it will be a phone with edges on both sides.

The Taiwanese smartphone maker will unveil its flagship smartphone of 2015, the upcoming One M9 on March 1 at 04:00pm (CET) - 8.30pm IST.

If rumors are to be believed, HTC One M9 is said to sport a 5-inch full-HD display, octa-core 2GHz Snapdragon 810 processor. 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage and microSD card support for storage expansion, 20.7MP rear camera with LED flash and a 4MP or 13MP selfie shooter with UltraPixel technology, 2,900mAh battery, BoomSound front speakers with Dolby Audio Surround technology and Bluetooth 4.1.

While, the South Korean tech manufacturer has already launched luxury G Watch Urbane smartwatch along with LG Magna, LG Spirit, LG Leon and LG Joy smartphone, there's still a chance that LG will probably announce other smartphones and tablets such as new L-series devices in days to come.

LG fans can expect the unveil of LGG3 successor, the LGG4 and also a successor to LG G Pad 8.3.

The Chinese smartphone maker is also said to create some waves at the Barcelona tech conference with the launch of the slimmest smartphone Gionee Elife S7 on March 2 at 2pm CET - 6.30pm IST.

Going by the speculations, Gionee Elife S7 is said to be around 7mm thick, considering the fact that Gionee Elife S5.5 was 5.5mm thick and Elife S5.1 was 5.15mm thick. We still have less cues on rest of the specifications of the upcoming smartphone.

The Microsoft event is scheduled to take place on March 2 - 08:30am CET (1 pm IST). Reportedly, the Redmond-based tech giant is expected to launch a whole new range of Windows Phone handsets (atleast 5 new models) which is said to fall under affordable and mid-range category.

A recent leak showed a list of 5 handset models. This included RM-1031 -- a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) resolution display, hinting at an entry-level handset.

The second one is Microsoft/Nokia RM - 1062, which also has variants - 1063 (AT&T), 1064, 1065, 1066, and 1067, all of which will feature a 5.7-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) displays. Then there is RM - 1072 housing a 5-inch HD display. It too has variants - 1073 (AT&T), 1074, 1075, 1076, and 1077.

The report further shows the Microsoft RM -1109 and RM - 1113, both of which might be the variants of the Microsoft/Nokia RM - 1072 mentioned above.

Like RM- 1072, these handset are also seen with 5-inch HD display.

In the same Microsoft event, we expect to see a flagship Lumia launch. Yes, Microsoft Lumia 1330 has been in rumors for quite a long and it is reportedly said to sport a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 720p, 2GB of RAM and will target the mid-end of the smartphone market, currently dominated by the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G and the Micromax Yu Yureka.

GizBot has exclusively got some information on the upcoming Chinese smartphone that Lenovo Vibe Shot will definitely be launched at MWC 2015.

Specswise, it would boast a 5-inch FHD display, a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of native storage and Android 5.0 Lollipop. It will also feature a 16-megapixel rear facing camera with a triple-tone LED flash, BSI sensor, and optical image stabilization.

Acer recently teased on the company's social media pages about its upcoming smartphone and wearable at #MWC15" as "Coming Soon." The image caption clearly stated a 'smartphone' and a 'wearable' set to be launched at MWC 2015.

"Out with the old, in with the new. Get ready to meet our new smartphones and wearable @ Mobile World Congress 2015 GSMA Mobile World Congress," said the caption.

Another Chinese device maker ZTE is said to unveil a new premium smartphone in Barcelona. Rumored to be ZTE Nubia Z9, the smartphone is said to launch with a 5.5-inch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor or a cool new octa-core MT6895 platform by MediaTek.
