Nokia Lumia series achieved quite a good sales figure and the sales chart is still going up. The fact that it is a Windows based phone and also that the phone features some very good specs and features was the reason behind this good sales figure. So what is next?
Nokia could launch a tablet that takes its inspiration from Nokia Lumia phone. Imagined spec list and images of the tab has been posted in the net by one Nokia follower. The device looks like a blown up version of the phone itself. But is that really a problem? When iPad was launched initially the critics complained that it is just a huge iPhone.
But nevertheless of these claims iPad achieved a very good sales figure. So that means irrespective of the fact that it has lots of similarities to the iPhone, iPad was able to achieve a good sales figure because of its impressive spec list and features. If that is the case then Nokia too can adopt this philosophy.
Nokia Lumia series design and finish is very beautiful. So if the company is able to make bigger uni-body polycarbonate cases for tablets incorporating the same design cues then it might be very much accepted by many users. So the tablet would have a nice and big screen that is about 10 inch in size. The colour combination would be blue and black or other combinations found in the Lumia series.
So that is about the physical features of the tablet, now coming to the specifications. The tablet will contain a 1.4 GHz CPU. It can be a dual core type or a single core type that is found now in the Lumia series. In terms of internal memory the tablet would be offered in different capacities. There would be a 16 GB, 32 GB and also a 64 GB model.
This allows the user to select the device according to their memory requirement. There would be 512 MB of RAM too. The screen will have a size of 9.7 inch and will have a resolution of about 1280 x 800 pixels. The tablet would feature dual cameras and the main camera will have a resolution of about 8 mega pixels. The front facing camera may come with a resolution of about 2 mega pixels.
Such a kind of device will surely be accepted by the public if Nokia decides to develop and launch it. So let’s hope that day will come when we can get our hands on a Lumia tablet.
