Airtel Launches New Rs 200 Pack With YouTube Premium, 30GB Data: All Details
Airtel has introduced a Rs 200 prepaid add-on pack that bundles YouTube Premium, 30GB of data and subscriptions to more than 20 OTT platforms. The pack will be valid for 28 days and is basically for Airtel users who want access to video streaming services alongside mobile data.

The bundle includes YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium, along with streaming platforms such as Prime Video, JioHotstar, Zee5 Premium and SonyLIV. Airtel's latest offering follows its Rs 48 recharge pack, which provides a month of JioHotstar access.
What does Airtel's Rs 200 recharge offer?
The new Airtel pack comes with 30GB of high-speed data and 28 days of validity. Its YouTube Premium subscription removes advertisements from videos and supports background playback and offline downloads. Not just this, YouTube Music Premium is included here as well.
Not just this, the recharge also gives you access to more than 20 OTT platforms. Apart from Prime Video, JioHotstar, Zee5 Premium and SonyLIV, the bundle includes other streaming services. Airtel has positioned the offering as an add-on that combines video streaming subscriptions and mobile data in a single recharge.
However, do note that the pack does not include voice calling or SMS benefits. Users must have an active Airtel prepaid base plan to use the add-on.
How to activate YouTube Premium with the Airtel pack
After recharging with the Rs 200 pack, users need to claim the YouTube Premium benefit separately. They can do this through the Airtel Thanks app or Airtel's prepaid plans website.
In the Airtel Thanks app, users can navigate to the Rewards & OTTs section, locate the YouTube Premium offer and select the claim option to activate it.
The subscription is valid for 28 days, matching the validity of the add-on pack. Users will need to recharge again and claim the benefit to continue accessing the service, subject to Airtel's offer terms.
Airtel Rs 200 pack versus a standalone YouTube Premium subscription
YouTube Premium's individual subscription plan costs around Rs 149 per month in India. Airtel's Rs 200 pack costs Rs 51 more and adds 30GB of mobile data and access to multiple OTT platforms.
The two options differ in what they include. A standalone YouTube Premium subscription focuses on ad-free YouTube viewing, background playback and downloads, along with YouTube Music Premium. Airtel's add-on combines these benefits with mobile data and access to other streaming services, but requires an active Airtel prepaid plan.
The new pack adds another entertainment-focused option to Airtel's prepaid recharge catalogue. Its relevance to individual users will depend on their existing mobile plan, the streaming services they use and whether they need the additional data.
