Android 4.2 Jelly Bean People App: Google Forgets Children of December
While the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean based Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 devices are already released into the market and some of them including Nexus 7 and Galaxy Nexus are getting upgraded, only the features of the OS including Photo Sphere, gesture typing, Daydream, Wi-Di technology and other enhancements are known so far.
Now, as the incremental upgrade is gradually being rolled out officially and available unofficially through custom ROMs, a new bug as been figured out. Wondering what it is all about? Android 4.2 has left the month of holidays – December in disguise.
According to a recent Android Police report, consumers of Nexus 4, Nexus 10 and Galaxy Nexus have reported that the People app lacks the month of December in its calendar. After the complaint, it has been confirmed that Android 4.2 as a whole is facing the issue.
The report continues stating that the issue has been submitted and acknowledged to Google and it is likely to expect Android 4.2.1 soon. Unfortunately, the ignorance of December is disappointing as it cancels all the holidays and according to the calender the kid's favorite Santa is not going to come, however, on the other hand, it can save the consumers from December 21, 2012, which according to Mayan calendar indicates the end of the world.
