With the much anticipated next iPhone's release around the corner, there have been several reports and rumors regarding the smartphone's specifications.
The latest one has come from a Taiwanese blog Apple.pro, the reports stated that an AppleInsider has found a part that has not made its presence in the earlier leaked photos. The size of the part arises a doubt that it could be NFC (Near Field Communication) chip. Moreover, the AppleInsider tips that the NFC chip is placed next to the front camera and it coincides with the square shape of the other NFC chips.
Earlier, there were rumors that the Cupertino based company could launch the iPhone 5 with NFC, allowing the users to pay using their handset while on the go.
Coming to the specifications of the next iPhone, the rumors are rife that it will come with 9 pin connector, 1GB RAM, iOS 6, improved Siri, liquidmetal casing, an 8MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera for video chatting and a much-improved battery life.
Though the iPhone 5 is the much awaited device from Apple, the Retina Display equipped Macbook Pro is also talked about amongst the Apple fansboys.
A CNET report claims that the company has started the production of the 13.3 inch Macbook Pro with Retina Display, which sports a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
A NPD DisplaySearch analyst Richard Shim has told CNET that “The supply chain indications are that it's for a MacBook Pro 13.3 -- not a MacBook Air.”
Shim went on saying that the Displays are made by Sharp, LGD and Samsung and the production volume of the displays for the 13.3 inch model will be higher when compared to the 15.4 inch Retina Display Macbook Pro.
“ With 15.4 it's production of a few hundred thousand units versus one to two million for the 13.3. It depends on how the yield rates turn out. If the yield rates are really good and they're at 70, 80, 90 percent, then they'll probably be in the million and a half range," he said.”
Given that the production of the Retina Display for the 13.3 Macbook Pro starts now, the device could arrive this fall. Moreover, the 13.3 inch Macbook Pro Retina could start at a cheaper price while the 15.4 inch model starts at Rs 1,52,000.
