Apple iPhone 6 Pricing Leaks Ahead of September 9 Launch

While Android smartphone makers are busy announcing their devices at the ongoing IFA 2014 tech fair, Apple's Phone 6 which is due to launch at the September 9th event, has just been leaked yet again prior to the official launch.

It is not a regular type of leak where you see the smartphone pictured is some odd way or the anything like that, but comes in the form of a pricing. In other words, the pricing of the device has been leaked this time. What is even better with the leak is that it reveals the pricing of both the iPhone models. If you are not aware, the iPhone 6 is coming in two variants. One with a 4.7-inch display and another with 5.5-inch screen (iPhone 6L).

Apple iPhone 6 Pricing Leaks Ahead of September 9 Launch

The image that shows the pricing of the devices was leaked in Hong Kong and was brought to major highlight by technology blog TK Tech News.

As per the leaked screenshot, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will be priced at HKD 6,663 (which translates to Rs. 52,000 approximately) for the 16GB model. The 32GB model would cost HKD 7,671 (approximately Rs. 60,000), and HKD 8,679 (approx. Rs. 67,500) for the 64GB model.

On the other hand, the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 varaint is said to be priced at HKD 7,923 (approx. Rs. 61,800) for the 16GB model, HKD 8,931 (approx. Rs. 69,700) for the 32GB model, and HKD 9,687 (approx. Rs. 75,500) for the 64GB model.

But it's should be noted that the prices of the devices are calculated without including the local and other taxes.
As far as the specs of the two devices are concerned, both model will come with iOS 8 OS. Thus far the previous leaks suggest that the device will come in two variants viz. the iPhone 6 with 4.7-inch display and the larger model called iPhone 6L which will measure 5.5-inches big.

Both these devices are supposed to come with a the Touch ID fingerprint sensor and NFC support. As far as the CPU is concerned, Apple will be utilizing the new Apple A8 SoC to power up these upcoming handsets.

It is expected that the 4.7-inch model will feature an IPS LCD display providing a resolution of 960 x 1704 pixel while it would likewise receive a 2GB of RAM and dual-core 2GHz 64-bit processor inside the Apple A8 chipset.

Apple is expected to also announce a 128GB storage option for the phone. On the other hand, the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 would come with a sapphire display and would measure around 158 x 77 x 7 mm, while the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 would measure 138 x 67 x 6.9 mm.
The two iPhone 6 are said to hit the shelves by September 19.
