Apple Is Reportedly Working on an AI-Powered Wearable Pin with Dual Cameras

Apple is reportedly working on an AI-powered wearable pin that may arrive in 2027, with the project detailed by The Information. If launched, the device is expected to compete with OpenAI's mystery AI wearable, which is tipped to launch later this year, highlighting a new race in wearable AI gadgets.

The report says Apple has not confirmed the product publicly, and development is still internal. However, people familiar with the work suggest the AI pin would be roughly the size of a slightly thicker AirTag and is being designed as a discreet, always-on assistant for daily use.

According to the report, the current prototype is described as a "thin, flat, circular disc with an aluminum-and-glass shell." It reportedly features an aluminium and glass body, a single physical button placed on the edge, and a charging interface on the back that works in a way similar to the Apple Watch system.
