Apple Reportedly Investing $1 Billion a Year in Google’s Gemini to Power Next-Gen Siri

The iPhone intends to leverage Google's expertise to enhance's core technology paving the way for features next year Google's AI model, with its vast complexity, significantly surpasses Apple's current capabilities. Initially, Apple considered other third-party models like Gemini,AI's ChatGPT, and Anthropic's Claude but ultimately chose Google earlier this year.

Google's Role in Siri's Transformation

Google's Gemini model will be responsible for Siri's summarizer and planner functions. These components enable the voice assistant to process information and perform intricate tasks efficiently. Despite this partnership, some Siri functionalities will still rely on Apple's internal models.
