Apple to Open Its First Store in Bengaluru on September 2

Apple is about to add another dot on its India retail map. The company announced on Thursday that it will open its first store in Bengaluru on September 2. Named Apple Hebbal, the new location will be the tech giant’s third official store in India, following Apple BKC in Mumbai and Apple Saket in New Delhi.

A Timely Launch With iPhone 17 Around the Corner

The opening comes just days before Apple is expected to reveal the iPhone 17 lineup, giving the Bengaluru launch an extra layer of attention. Apple Hebbal will open its doors at 1 PM IST on Tuesday, September 2.

The company also unveiled the store’s barricade design earlier in the day. It features artwork inspired by the peacock, India’s national bird, which Apple described as a celebration of pride and a nod to its third store in the country.

What’s Inside Apple Hebbal

The new store, located at Phoenix Mall in Bengaluru, will follow the same model as Apple’s other flagships. Visitors can expect Apple Specialists, Creatives, and Geniuses on the floor, along with dedicated teams for business customers.

It’ll also host the “Today at Apple” sessions — free, hands-on workshops led by Apple Creatives. These cover everything from getting started with a new iPhone to exploring art, productivity, coding, and storytelling. For many first-time Apple buyers, these sessions serve as a practical introduction to the ecosystem.

Part of a Growing Retail Push in India

Apple’s first physical store in India, Apple BKC, opened in April 2023 at Jio World Drive Mall in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex. Known for its striking two-story design and timber ceiling, it was quickly followed by Apple Saket in Delhi’s Select Citywalk Mall.
