Apple’s First Pune Store Opens Tomorrow at Koregaon Park: Here’s What to Expect

Apple is set to open the doors to its newest Indian retail location tomorrow. The Apple Koregaon Park store in Pune will welcome customers on Wednesday, September 4 at 1 pm, marking Apple’s first retail presence in the city and its fourth in the country, after Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru.

Pune Gets Its Own Apple Store

The store is located in Koregaon Park, a neighborhood known for its cultural and creative energy. Visitors will find the full Apple lineup on display, including the iPhone 16 series, the new M4-powered MacBook Air, and the latest iPad Air with Apple Pencil Pro. Subscription services like Apple Music and Apple TV+ will also be promoted, alongside Apple Trade In and financing options.

Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail, said the company is excited to expand into Pune, calling it a city celebrated for “history and creativity.” She added that the store will be a place where customers can shop, seek support, or draw inspiration for new ideas.

A Local Team and Services

Apple Koregaon Park will be staffed by 68 employees from 11 Indian states. Each has been trained to deliver Apple’s signature one-to-one support. Like other Apple retail outlets worldwide, the store runs on 100% renewable energy and is carbon neutral.

Customers can use Apple Pickup to collect online orders more easily, while businesses will be able to access dedicated consultation and support. Personalized setup services will also be available to help new device owners get started right away.

Workshops and Creative Sessions

The store will also host Today at Apple sessions, daily workshops designed to help people get more out of their devices. Topics include iPhone photography, note-taking on iPad, Mac basics, and an “Apple Intelligence Spotlight” session. These workshops are free to attend and led by Apple Creatives.

To celebrate the launch, Apple has created exclusive wallpapers and curated a playlist featuring local artists, giving the opening a Pune-specific touch.

Apple has been expanding its retail footprint in India as demand for premium devices grows. After opening in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru, Pune becomes the fourth city to get a flagship Apple store. For Apple, this expansion is as much about building community as it is about selling products.
