ASUS Rolls Out New ‘Drop Zone’ Service for Laptop Repairs at Retail Stores in India
ASUS has launched a new service called Drop Zone at select ASUS Exclusive Stores across India. The idea is pretty simple: instead of going all the way to a service center when your ASUS laptop needs a repair, you can now just drop it off at a nearby retail store.
The Drop Zone service is now live in key cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Nagpur, and Coimbatore (Tirupur), with plans to expand to more cities, including tier-2 and tier-3 locations in the coming months.

How Drop Zone Works
You walk into a participating ASUS store, hand over your laptop, and get a quick assessment of the device’s physical condition. If everything checks out, the staff gives you a job sheet and keeps the device for repair. Once the service is complete, the repaired laptop is returned to the same location, and you’re notified to pick it up.
Here’s a quick breakdown of the process:
- You visit a Drop Zone and deposit your ASUS laptop.
- The staff performs a basic L1-level check for physical or software issues.
- You get a job sheet and leave the laptop with them.
- After a full service center diagnosis, final updates are shared with you.
- Once the repair is done, the laptop comes back to the same store.
- You return with the job sheet, collect your laptop, and you’re done.
If you’ve lost the job sheet, you’ll need to follow ASUS service center terms for verification.
Not Just Physical Support
ASUS says the Drop Zone initiative complements its broader after-sales network, which includes over 200 service centers and coverage across 14,900+ pin codes. Customers can also access 24/7 help through the MyASUS app, phone, chat, or even ASUS’ YouTube channels for self-help content.
The company recently kicked off a service camp in Pune as well, offering on-site diagnostics and tech support for local users.
