Smartphone manufacturer Asus has announced that it will launch its Zenfone 2 in the Indian market soon. The company has teased, saying that the devices will be available without any flash sale or invitation, which indirectly refers to the companies like Yu, Xiaomi and OnePlus. Dubbed as ZenFone 2 (ZE551ML), it was launched back in CES 2015 in Las Vegas.
Moving on to the specifications, this device comes with 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280x1920 pixels along with a wide 178-degree viewing angle. Asus claims its TruVivid technology enhances display performance more with brighter colors and is protectec by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
This device is powered by an 2.3GHz 64-bit Intel Atom processor Z3580 along with 4GB RAM. On the storage, it comes in three variants, such as 16GB/32GB/64GB built-in memory. Moreover, on the imaging factor, it flaunts a 13MP rear camera with an f/2.0 wide-aperture lens, and a 'real tone' flash for warm skin tones and accurate colour, 5MP front-facing camera with a wide, 85-degree field of view for taking selfies.
On the software front, this Zenfone 2 is shipped with Lollipop 5.0 with ZenUI on top of it along with Trend Micro security software pre-installed in it. Coming to the connectivity, it supports 4G/LTE connectivity for faster data speeds of up to 150Mbit/s in addition to 802.11ac Wi-Fi, dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.0.
Coming in Osmium Black, Sheer Gold, Glacier Gray, Glamor Red and Ceramic White colors, ZenFone 2 is powered by a 3000mAh battery which provides more than a full day of use on a single charge as per the company. The phone's fast-charge technology enables recharges to 60% battery level in 39 minutes.
