BenQ’s New Monitor For Creators Promises Accurate Colours and More

BenQ has just launched a new monitor, the Creative Pro PV3250U in India for colourists, video editors and post-production professionals.

Announced at Broadcast India 2026, BenQ says the monitor combines its AQCOLOR technology with calibration and image-inspection features to help professionals evaluate content during editing and review. Let's take a closer look at what the BenQ PV3250U offers.

BenQ PV3250U launched: Price and availability in India

The BenQ Creative Pro PV3250U has an MRP of ₹1,99,000 in India. However, the company says the monitor is available at an end-customer price of ₹1,48,998 within October.

The company has not really explained for how long the offer will remain available or whether it will be limited to select retailers.

The monitor was announced at Broadcast India 2026 and is designed for professionals who need a large display for colour-sensitive work. Those considering it should check the final price and availability with BenQ or an authorised seller before making a purchase.

BenQ PV3250U: Features and specifications

The PV3250U features a 31.5-inch 4K UHD display with a native contrast ratio of 3000:1 and gamma 2.4 tuning. The monitor offers 99% DCI-P3 and 100% Rec.709 colour gamut coverage, alongside a stated Delta E of 1 or lower. These specifications are important for users who need consistent colour reproduction while editing or reviewing visual content.

The PV3250U also supports HDR10 and HLG, as well as VESA DisplayHDR 600, allowing creators to review HDR content. Its 120Hz refresh rate is another feature that may make navigating timelines and working with moving content feel smoother. However, the monitor’s key focus remains colour accuracy and image evaluation rather than gaming.

BenQ says these features, along with its AQCOLOR technology, help preserve shadow gradation and minimise black crush in Rec.709 workflows.

For calibration, it includes a 16-bit 3D LUT with nearly 5,000 RGB reference points. The calibration data is stored in the monitor’s internal IC, while BenQ AQCOLOR Pilot software supports recalibration using a compatible external calibrator. The company clarifies that the 16-bit specification refers to internal colour-correction precision.

BenQ has also included a magnetic shading hood, which is designed to reduce ambient light and reflections that could affect colour evaluation. For display controls, the monitor comes with backlit OSD keys and the Wireless Hotkey Puck G4. Users can configure the Puck’s settings through BenQ Display Pilot 2. The monitor also features an ESS DAC that supports high-impedance headphones up to 300Ω, which may be useful for professionals who need to review audio alongside video.

Talking about connectivity, the PV3250U supports Thunderbolt 4, with up to 40Gbps bandwidth and up to 96W of power delivery through a compatible single-cable connection.

Tools for inspecting video and images

The BenQ PV3250U also includes a set of tools intended to help creators examine footage without changing the original content.

For instance, Shadow Check temporarily lifts dark areas in an image, making details in low-light scenes easier to see during inspection. Once the review is complete, users can return to the calibrated viewing mode for final grading decisions.

The monitor also features Marker, which provides aspect-ratio and cropping guides for different delivery formats. This could be useful for professionals preparing content for multiple platforms, where framing and crop requirements can vary.

Finally, Area Zoom allows users to magnify selected parts of an image for a closer look at specific details. BenQ says these tools are designed for inspection and do not modify the source content.
