With the help of this system, any person can walk into the ATM, and lodge a police complaint on any issue without visiting any police station or police office, he said.
"I click' is an user-friendly, touchscreen based complaint lodging system, which is directly connected to the control room of police," the spokesperson said, adding, the moment the complaint is lodged, the person gets an acknowledgement slip and also an SMS alert, if she/he provides any mobile number.
"This people-centric, citizen-friendly 'I click' will usher in a new era of police-community relations and make people more responsive towards the police," he said. "It is a citizen friendly kiosk, located in sector 22 of the city, which will enable any person to lodge a complaint at any time of the day or night without fear or intimidation," he said. Police will respond to the complaint within minutes, the spokesperson said.
