Online retailer eBay today launched a scheme to sell imported products like Apple iPhone and iPad, HTC and Samsung at up to 60 per cent discount.

"We are the only online marketplace that enable products to be sourced from global sites to India. Indian consumers can avail up to 60 per cent discount across 12,000 deals during this shopping promotion which ends on May 15," eBay India Director & Business Head Vidmay Naini said in a statement.

The promotional scheme started from today. "Shoppers need not worry about exchange rate conversions, shipping costs, custom duty and order tracking, as eBay India will be offering all deals at an all-inclusive INR price and at no hidden costs," the statement said.

A random check of eBay India portal showed mix of new and refurbished mobile phone and tablets under the offer.
