Flipkart launches ‘Made For India’ MarQ Smart TVs and ACs at CES 2018

Flipkart, India's largest e-commerce marketplace, has launched an exclusive line of Smart Televisions and Air Conditioners under its private label MarQ, at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2018 in Las Vegas. Featuring alongside the latest consumer tech from global brands, the MarQ ACs and Smart TVs line sports the best-in-class technology, and are among the only products to be launched at CES that "have been designed exclusively to suit Indian needs."

The 'InnoCool' range of ACs will be available in 4 variants on Flipkart from the beginning of April, while the 32 inch HDR Smart TV will go on sale in May. With this launch, the product portfolio of MarQ has steadily expanded in recent months and the brand now encapsulates most products in large appliances. The earlier launch of Washing Machines, TVs, and Microwaves, which fulfilled some critical needs of Indian customers, has been extremely successful for Flipkart and customers have embraced MarQ products for their top-notch quality and affordable prices.

The benefits of the innovative MarQ ACs and Smart TVs range extend beyond cost efficiencies to improve consumers' experience, health, and comfort throughout their home. Innocool ACs are specially engineered for air purification with features like an anti-dust filter and anti-fungal filters, and they use ozone-friendly green gas the company said in a press statement.

For the design and manufacture of InnoCool ACs, Flipkart has entered into a strategic partnership with LEEL Electronics (India), formerly known as Lloyd Electric & Engineering Ltd. MarQ ACs are produced in best-in-class ISO certified manufacturing facilities, and go through stringent quality checks across aspects of performance, reliability, safety, and markings. Final product testing has been conducted independently by Intertek (world's leading quality agency), after rigorous testing at LEEL labs and factories.
