RIM is offering paid apps worth Rs 2,500 for free with its new BlackBerry Curve 9220. The customers getting the phone in India, can download a set of paid apps of Rs 2,500 for free from the BlackBerry App World.
This steps is mainly to make the apps affordable for the first time users of smartphones. This is also to counter the Android's Google Play store as it has more apps than the app store of BlackBerry.
