Google Fiber Updated: Adds more TV Channels [Video]

Google Fiber, the fastest internet network in the world – announced in late July – initially Kansas City, USA was slated to get the ultra high speed internet network in September.

At 1Gbps connectivity speed, Google Fiber is 100 times faster than today’s average Internet connections and lets the users get what they want instantaneously.

As announced earlier, the search engine giant is kicking off the signup process for the same for the Kansas Citians, letting them choose between Gigabit+TV plan, Gigabit internet plan and Free internet plan.

According to the official Google blog post, there are a number of additional channels of different genres including lifestyle, sports, faith, family and arts. Google Fiber TV service includes almost 200 channels and it will continue getting more over time. As the TV service runs on the gigabit network, there are no extra charges for the HD channels, which is interesting.
