Google introduces new job search experience in India
Google has unveiled a new search experience that makes it easier and quicker for job seekers in India. Here is the detailed report.
Finding a job in India is a big deal, though there are many job searching consultancies are there but still people face problem in finding a new job. Google has come up with a new solution.
On Tuesday the search giant has launched a new experience for Indian job seekers. The new experience is inspired by the Google for Jobs feature which was launched last year in the US. The feature was introduced to make the job search easier for the Internet users.
Google has joined hands with the other job portals like Aasaanjobs, Freshersworld, Headhonchos, IBM Talent Management Solutions, LinkedIn, Quezx, Shine.com, T-Jobs, TimesJobs, and WinsdomJobs. On the other hand, Google is also working with various state governments in the country to bolster the experience for Indian job seekers.
To start with the new job searching experience, the user needs to pass on some simple queries like "jobs near me" or "jobs for freshers" to Google Search or they can simply search for a desirable position on Google.
This search will bring a special module which will allow users to explore, customise, and save relevant job postings. The module comes with all-inclusive information about the jobs available on the partner sites.
The lists will open the opportunities with job titles, location, and their nature such as full-time or part-time. There is also the time from when any particular listing is available online.
So once the search results are available, you can see the jobs what you are searching for. Alongside there are many filters to pick the most appropriate openings.
You also have the option to refine the search on the basis of job profile, date posted, title, location, and company type. Users also have the option of bookmarking the relevant listings and consider them in future.
There is a tab called 'Alerts' which will notify you on your email when there is a new job posted relevant to the one which you were searching for.
This new feature will make the life easier for Indian job seekers. While job seekers can't apply for jobs directly, but it will redirect you to the job listing page, from where one can apply for the job.
