Google's Android XR Event: What to Expect?
During the event, the tech giant is likely to announce new features for Android XR devices, as Google hints with the message: "Get a reminder to learn about our biggest updates in Android XR." Google's teaser video also shows two Android bots - one wearing the Galaxy XR headset, and the other showing the rumoured Android XR smart glasses.
Google first previewed its Android XR Glasses at the I/O Developers Conference back in May. Now, the company is likely to share more details, including new features for the Galaxy XR headset, which launched in October.
To recall, the Galaxy XR headset resembles a mix of the Vision Pro and Meta Quest 3 in design. It brings mini-LEDs supporting 4K resolution and up to 90Hz refresh rates for smooth visuals. Samsung's headset promises up to 2.5 hours of battery life. Its lightweight plastic construction with a cushioned back piece ensures comfort during extended use. It's priced at $1,799 (around Rs 1,61,647).
