Google Takes Image Recognition To Newer Heights
Google is now taking the image recognition technology to new heights. The tech giant which has devoured the wold with incredible technologies like Google Glass and others is now running a research in collaboration with scientists from Stanford University to create artificial intelligence software. The new software which has been announced by the company has the most advanced image recognition skills in the world.

It is capable of recognizing and describing the content of photographs and videos with far greater accuracy and precision than ever before and its descriptions are similar to what would be given by a human.
Via a blog, Google writes, "This kind of system could eventually help visually impaired people understand pictures, provide alternate text for images in parts of the world where mobile connections are slow, and make it easier for everyone to search on Google for images."
However, this would completely depend on the implication of the technology and software.

Further, the tech firm also wites, "A picture may be worth a thousands words," and "But sometimes it's the words that are the most useful - so it's important we figure out ways to translate from images to words automatically and accurately."
The new artificial intelligence software could also help improve the technology in robotics and to give them a better data on the basis of the image.
