Google teams up with CBSE for exam search result, info in search and more
The collaboration has been put into effect beginning from JEE Main entrance exam results, that have gone live already.
Google has something to offer for most of the age groups, be it games, information on any topic and even exam results. Keeping the requirements of students in mind Google has recently collaborated with CBSE, in order to make the exam related info easily accessible by students. As per some reports from the Beebom, it is being said this new collaboration between CBSE and Google will not only allow the students to view exam-related information but will also show the board exam search results from within the Google Search.
Further, the collaboration has been put into effect beginning from JEE Main entrance exam results, that have gone live already. Following this, the students will be able to access their results quickly and securely for a number of exams by simply searching it on Google.
Shilpa Agarwal, Product Manager at Google Search, said: "With over 260 million students enrolled in more than 1.5 million schools across India, we believe having reliable, seamless, and safe access to education-related information is crucial...That's why today's updates are just the first step of many to improve access to information about important exams and other exam-related content in Google Search in India" she further added.
It is also being reported that Google has worked closely with CBSE in order to make sure that the student's data is handled securely and should be used only for showing the results on the Google's search page. However, it is also worth noting the fact that this feature or service will be available for a short period of duration. It is being said that the feature will be live for a short duration after the results are announced formally.
Further, the feature is also said to improve the search experience for the other popular exams that take place in India including, GATE, SSC CGL, CAT etc. Following this, the students who are searching for their exam will get important information like registration dates, test dates and other relative information with the Google search.
