Here’s Why Elon Musk Might Ban Apple Devices at Tesla, SpaceX, X, and xAI
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla has disclosed he might ban Apple devices at his companies if the brand integrates OpenAI at the OS level. He also stated visitors to his companies will need to check their devices at the door.
Musk called such a move by Apple an "unacceptable security violation." His recent post on X (formerly Twitter) says "It's patently absurd that Apple isn't smart enough to make their own AI, yet is somehow capable of ensuring that OpenAI will protect your security & privacy!" and "Apple has no clue what's actually going on once they hand your data over to OpenAI. They're selling you down the river."

While Musk is not happy with the partnership between Apple and OpenAI. Apple said "You'll be able to access ChatGPT for free, without creating an account. Your requests and information will not be logged.''
The Cupertino-based tech giant also added that they have a plan to expand partnerships with other companies as well, but they will begin with free access to OpenAI's GPT-4o. Despite Musk's strong opposition, Apple seems committed to its partnership with OpenAI. The company believes its users' data will remain secure and private.
Apple's new AI features focus on personalisation and user-centric tools, which include AI writing tools, AI-generated images, and enhanced Siri capabilities. They are designed to simplify tasks and improve user interactions.
The new AI writing tools will assist users in drafting emails, messages, and documents. AI-generated images will provide custom visuals based on user preferences, while Siri will offer more intuitive responses and actions.
