    Huawei is adding another gadget to its fast growing communications accessory product line. The latest gadget in its portfolio is an E355 Wi-Fi data card. It will function as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot which has the capability of connecting up to 5 Wi-Fi devices at the same time. Huawei has priced this gadget at nominal price tag of Rs 5,499 making it affordable to mass Indian consumers.

    Huawei E355 features an USB interface and has the flexibility of getting powered up by multiple USB chargers unlike normal modems that can be charged via computer only. It guarantees undistorted and high speed connectivity making it suitable for business professionals and families.

    The device supports a download speed of HSPA+ 21 Mbps and an upload speed of 5.76 Mbps. The download and upload speed is about 20% more while considering other similar modems as Huawei E355 comes with Type3i technology. With this technology, Huawei assures faster browsing even with network congestion.

    A green light indicator denotes the connectivity status. The dimension of this data card is convenient for storage and portability. Huawei E355 will help expand the usage of several devices including tablets, gaming consoles, Smart TV, smartphones and also music pods.

    Huawei seems to be making strong inroads to the high speed Wifi modem market. The company was out with HiLink data Card E303C recently which the company claims to have connectivity in just 15 seconds.
