Idea Launches Battery Equipped 3G Wi-Fi Dongle at Rs 2,999

Mumbai-based Telecom operator Idea Cellular has announced the launch of its new 3G Wi-Fi dongle called Smart Wi-Fi Hub. This dongle allows you to use high speed 3G data connectivity up to 10 devices, and does not need any laptop connection for power supply.

Further on, the download speed is mentioned as 21.6 Mbps and the upload speed goes to 11 Mbps. Devices like laptops, phones, tablets and music players which supports Wi-Fi can be connected at the same time to the Wi-Fi Hub enabling the users to manage multiple devices across the same network making it hassle free.

It is completely portable and there's no need of any software installation, as it is powered by a 1500mAh in-built battery for long lasting usage. This Smart Wi-Fi Hub is compatible on 900 MHz and 2100 MHz bandwidths, a first of its kind in India, and is targeted towards SOHO (small office and home office) users.

Priced at Rs. 2,999 Idea's Smart Wi-Fi hub provides 6GB of 3G data for one month and is compatible with all major operating systems and will be available in all major 3G markets of Idea Cellular.
