Infosys Unveils Its Unified Cloud Ecosystem
IT firm Infosys has launcts its Cloud Ecosystem Hub recently. It is designed and developed for managing infrastructure and cloud applications through a single unique platform. The new platform would allow companies to store data and have access to various software tools on pay-per-use model. With this, companies need not invest heavily in infrastructure and scale up when needed, reducing their operating cost and infrastructure cost to a great extent.
This Unified Cloud Ecosystem Hub is designed to be helpful for clients since they will be able to choose, compare and provide cloud services across their customers. This will be done taking in to consideration many parameters including:
- Service Quality
- Regulatory compliance requirements
- Technology Compatibility
- Total cost of ownership for application workloads
Vishnu Bhat, Infosys Vice-President and Global head was stated as saying; “After 5-7 years, 60 percent of the IT workload is expected to be on the cloud, which is a mix of private and public cloud. The solution is aimed to help companies manage fragmented IT environment, providing a unified platform and seamless experience.” He also added, “Using the solution, businesses can accelerate time-to market of cloud services by up to 40 percent, improve productivity by up to 20 percent and achieve cost-savings of up to 30 percent.”
