Intel Accelerates ‘Make in India’ Initiative Showcasing Domestic Manufacturing and Innovation
The India Tech Ecosystem Summit held in New Delhi emerged as a pivotal platform showcasing over 25 innovative products, including a range of locally manufactured laptops and IT products by Intel India.
The event, underscored by the presence of MeitY secretary S Krishnan, highlighted the achievements under the government's Make in India initiative. The display of diverse technology solutions from original design manufacturers (ODMs), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and ecosystem players marked a significant stride towards technology-led growth and self-reliance in the Indian tech industry.

The summit was not just a showcase but a ground for launching innovative products like the locally manufactured server powered by 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors by Mega Networks and C-DAC's High-Performance Compute server Rudra.
Intel India took this opportunity to exhibit a vast spectrum of Make in India solutions, including banking on wheels, thin clients, all-in-one clients, and multi-function kiosks, demonstrating the breadth of local manufacturing capabilities.
The event also facilitated matchmaking between government entities, enterprises, OEMs, local ecosystem, and Taiwanese ODMs, fostering both domestic and international collaboration.
Intel's Commitment to Make in India
Intel India's participation in the summit was a strong affirmation of its commitment to the Make in India initiative. Santhosh Viswanathan and Gokul V Subramaniam from Intel India highlighted the shift towards innovation and self-reliance, envisioning India's significant role in global technology.
