It's official! Apple has announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place from June 8 to 12 in San Francisco's Moscone Center. The celebrated annual developers' conference is likely to focus on the company's mobile and Mac operating systems.

The event is developer-focused, with live streams available for those unable to attend Apple's annual developers' conference in San Francisco. It will also feature over 100 technical sessions to help developers.

"The App Store ignited an app ecosystem that is simply amazing, forever changing the lives of customers and creating millions of jobs worldwide," Apple's Senior Viceo President of Worldwide Market, Philip Schiller stated.

He further added: "We've got incredible new technologies for iOS and OS X to share with developers at WWDC and around the world, and can't wait to see the next generation of apps they create."

WWDC will also host the Apple Design Awards, which will showcase the best apps released in the past year for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac.

Registered Apple developers can immediately apply for WWDC 2015 tickets now through the event website. Applications will close this Friday i.e. April 17, at 10am PDT (10:30pm India Time). WWDC tickets cost $1,599 (approximately Rs. 100,800).

WWDC 2015: What To Expect

It is unlikely they will launch a new iPhone at Apple's WWDC; however, we do expect to see the next-generation Apple TV. We'll likely see a preview of iOS 9, plus the launch of the revamped Beats Music streaming service as part of iOS 8.4.
