Kia Seltos 2023 Launched In India With 32 Safety Features: Check Specifications, Launch Price And Availability

Kia India has launched its Seltos 2023 facelift version. Unveiled earlier this month on 4th July 2023, the new Seltos comes in 18 variants.

Last week, Kia offered the 2023 edition of its Kia Seltos mid-range Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV). The new Seltos received an overwhelming response, recording the highly competitive segment's highest day 1 booking of 13,424 units. Kia Seltos 2023 Specifications, Features

The 2023 Kia Seltos has three engine options. The top-end Smartstream 1.5-litre Turbo-GDi petrol has claimed 160PS power and 253Nm torque. The Smartstream 1.5-litre NA petrol has 115PS power and 144Nm torque. The third variant is the Smartstream 1.5-litre CRDi VGT diesel with 116PS power and 250Nm torque.

The turbo petrol variant of the Kia Seltos 2023 edition can be paired either with a 6-speed iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission) or a 7-speed DCT (Dual-Clutch Transmission). The NA petrol variant can be mated with a 6-speed MT (Manual Transmission) or an IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission), and the diesel unit with a 6-speed iMT or a 6-speed AT (Automatic Transmission).

The 2023 Seltos bears the iconic Kia Seltos look and feel, assures Kia. It has a familiar sportier performance, muscular exterior, futuristic cabin, and sophisticated technology, claims the company.

Kia has further categorically noted that the Kia Seltos 2023 edition comes packed with 32 safety features. It is interesting to note that 15 safety features are standard across the range. Additionally, with the 17 ADAS Level 2 autonomous features, the new Seltos will provide a unique, safer, and smarter drive experience, the company boasted.

Some of the highlights of the Kia Seltos 2023 edition include 26.04 centimeters dual screen panoramic display with a fully digital cluster and 26.03 centimeters of HD Touchscreen Navigation, dual-zone fully automatic Air Conditioner (AC)

The Seltos 2023 sports R18 size 46.20 cm crystal cut glossy black alloy wheels. It also has much-awaited features like the dual-pane panoramic sunroof and electric parking brake.

Along with the three engines and five transmission options, the Kia Seltos 2023 is available in three trim concepts: Tech Line, GT Line, and X-Line in both petrol and diesel variants.

The new Seltos starts at a special introductory price of ₹10,89,900 (Ex-showroom) pan-India. Kia also offers a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) with 17 autonomous features. This suite encompasses 1 camera and 3 radars for various intelligent features, including advanced Forward collision avoidance assist, lane keep assist, and smart cruise control with Stop & Go.
