List of Smartphones and Tablets Launched For the Week Ending November 4
HTC 8X, 8S, One X+ and Desire SV
HTC quietly released four of its smartphones including Windows Phone 8 based 8X and 8S and Android based One X+ and Desire SV in India on Friday, the day of iPhone 5 release.
Talking about the specs, HTC 8X houses a 4.3 inch Super LCD 2 HD capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 8MP rear camera, front facing 2.1MP camera for video calling, 16GB internal memory, 512MB RAM, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 1,800 mAh Li-Po battery.
8S features a 8S houses a 4 inch Super LCD 2 capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 1GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera, 4GB internal storage, 512MB RAM, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 1,700 mAh Li-Po battery.
When it comes to One X+, the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean handset packs a 4.7 inch Super LCD 2 capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, quad core 1.7GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 AP37 processor, 8MP rear camera, 1.6MP front camera, 64GB internal storage, 1GB RAM, 25GB free Dropbox storage for two years, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 2,100 mAh Li-Po battery delivering 6 hours of talk time.
Desire SV is a dual SIM Android ICS smartphone with a 4.3 inch Super LCD 2 touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, 1GHz dual core processor, 768MB RAM, 4GB on-board storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB, 25GB free Dropbox storage for two years, 8MP rear camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and1,620 mAh Li-ion battery.
Starting from November in India, the Windows Phone 8X will be available for Rs 35,023 while the Windows Phone 8S will be available for Rs 19,260. On the other hand, the HTC One X+ is priced at Rs 40,190 and Desire SV is priced at Rs 22,590.
