Huawei Honor 2 and Ascend D2

Huawei, the Chinese handset vendor unveiled Honor 2 smartphone that will be released into the Chinese market initially in the coming week. The company also launched a 5 inch Android device – Ascend D2.

Huawei Honor 2 sports a 4.5-inch IPS display with a 1280 x 720 resolution and 326 pixels per inch, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera , a 1.3-megapixel front camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, microSD support, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, as well as a 2,230mAh battery.

Huawei Ascend D2 will be carrying a 5-inch display with an unknown resolution, a quad-core 1.5GHz processor (likely its own K3V2). Further, Huawei Ascend D2 will also include 13 megapixel camera on back side, a front facing 1.3 megapixel snapper on front side, microSD card support, a 3,000mAh battery and it will come running on the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.

Reportedly, the company has informed the handset will also be upgradeable to the newly launched Android 4.2 version.
