Micromax 32-Inch LED TV Now Up For Sale At Rs 16,490

Micromax is the dark horse of the Indian market which is one of the leading mobile phonemakers in the country and also a thorn in many international and native manufacturer's side. After gunning records in the mobile industry, now the successful tech manufacturer is looking to diversify and expand in the consumer electronics segment.

Having said that, today the company has launched a 32-inch LED TV. Yes, its called Micromax 32T42ECHD and the newly launched television would be sold exclusively via e-commerce site Snapdeal.com at the price of Rs. 15,999.

The original launch price of the TV is Rs. 16,490 and this is the first time Micromax has entered into a strategic partnership with Snapdeal.com to launch its latest offering, the e-retailer said in a statement.

The 32 inch LED TV will have features as zero dot panel, narrow bezel design, USB play supporting all audio and video formats and HDMI and VGA ports to give additional viewing options, the statement added.

Other features of the television include: A resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and a contrast ratio of 3000000:1. The size of the TV is 734.5mm x 80mm x 431.5mm without its stand.

Sized at 734.5mm x 80mm x 431.5mm without its stand, the 32-inch panel that bears the model number 32T42ECHD lands with a stand and provides all the basic functions you'd come to expect of such a screen. The other TVs listed by Micromax include another 32-inch model as well as 20-inch option.

The smartphone manufacturer had ventured into the panel market in October 2012 by launching its range of LED TVs but it looks like Micromax is all geared to make some serious profits from this category. According to Snapdeal, the TV would be available across 400 cities and will be delivered to customers in NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad within two business days.
