    Micromax launches Android ICS tablet soon

    The Indian mobile phone manufacturer Micromax is all set to launch a new tablet powered by Android ICS in another couple of weeks. The 7 inch tablet will have preloaded content that is related to education and entertainment, claim the sources familiar with the company.

    The price of this tablet is expected to be around Rs. 15,000 and Micromax is in talks with the service providers across the country for the bundling of the data plans with the new device. So far nothing has got materialized. The upcoming tablet is will have a capacitive touchscreen display of 7 inches and Wi-Fi connectivity as well.

    The company is also expected to launch a dual SIM smartphone powered by Android for Rs. 8,000. This smartphone dubbed Micromax A78 will have a screen of 3.5 inches and will be powered by the Android 2.3 platform. It will have QWERTY keypad and touchpad.

    Let us await for these two new devices that will knock the doors of the stores soon.
