Micromax tablet comes to retail market next week

Micromax Funbook, the first tablet of the company is available in the retail stores in Delhi and on online shopping portals apart from the company website. The tablet will be available in the retail stored across the country from next week.

A spokesperson of Micromax said that the Funbook will be made available in over 50 cities. The company is also in discussion with the multibrand outlets. The Funbook is available for a price in India of Rs 6,499.

The tablet is powered by the Android 4.0 ICS operating system. It has three physical keys instead of capacitive touch buttons. It is fitted with all the necessary ports and slots like micro USB port, 3.5 mm jack, SD card slot and HDMI port.

It has Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity options. The company offers a Tata Photon EVDO data card for free with the device. The data card offers 1 GB free download for two months. Funbook is available in black and slate grey colors.
