Microsoft Cortana for Android will now allow users to make calls or send texts using voice commands
The new update which is being rolled out by Microsoft to its virtual assistant Cortana will allow users to make and receive calls without the need of picking up the smartphone.
Cortana which is a virtual assistant developed by Microsoft for Windows 10 Mobile and other Microsoft devices are getting an update. As per some reports from Beebom Microsoft Cortana will now allow users to make calls and send texts on Android by giving voice commands. This new update which is being rolled out by Microsoft to its virtual assistant Cortana will allow users to make and receive calls without the need of picking up the smartphone. This update was long awaited by the users and finally, the users can make use of the latest update.

The report further suggests that the new updated feature works pretty well without any lag. A user simply needs to give a voice command for a user to make calls or send texts. A user needs to give a simple command "Call" followed by the name of the contact you want to make a call. The procedure for sending text messages is also same; a user needs to give a voice command "text" followed by the name of the contact to send the text message. It is being further reported that the update is already live in the PlayStore with version 2.10.2.2135. Users can also download the apk file from apk mirror or by simply clicking on this link.
