Microsoft to restrict "Offensive and Inappropriate" data on Skype, MS Office and its other platforms

Microsoft has silently modified its Code of Conduct section which is associated with the "Microsoft Services Agreement". The new update is to ban the "use of offensive language and fraudulent activities". As per some sources from the internet the "Microsoft Services Agreement" will apply to a number of services provided by Microsoft. The list of services to which the Service Agreement will apply includes Skype, Microsoft Office 365, OneDrive, Xbox, Cortana and others.

It is being further reported that Microsoft is advising its user base to avoid sharing "inappropriate content" including nudity, offensive language, graphic violence or criminal activities on any of its platforms. As per some reports from the Microsoft has further made a statement that "violation of the Code of Conduct through the Xbox services might result in suspension or even ban the users from participation in Xbox services, Xbox Gold Membership time, and Microsoft account balances which are associated with the account". It seems like Microsoft doesn't want to take any chances with the security of its users and the type of content being shared on its platforms. That said we are expecting that the other tech giants also take such measures to curb the distribution of offensive and inappropriate content on their platforms.
