Motorola smartphones that will update to Android ICS
Motorola had released a roadmap of those devices that will get the Android 4.0 ICS update. This was posted on their official blog at the beginning of this year. They also provided details on the various steps that have to be taken to proceed with the upgrade. They detailed the procedure and segregated it into four stages.
The stages in the software upgrade process are listed below.

- Development
- Testing
- Available
The latest information that is revealed in the recent post may not please some Motorola users. It states that all the handsets will not get the software upgrade. It seems like a commensensical move taken by the brand. It is not willing to let go of the usability of the handsets just to get the software upgrade.
You may question this as the low end devices have got the Android ICS. The answer from Motorola is quite straightforward. They do not want to upgrade their devices as all the others are doing it. They like to maintain the usability of their products.
