New Mac to iPad Model Everything Launching at Apple October Event 2024

Following the launch of the next-gen iPhone 16 series at the "It's Glowtime" event, Apple is now gearing up to introduce new Mac models by the end of this month.

While the brand has not revealed anything regarding the upcoming products and the exact launch date, it is speculated to include a refreshed iMac, MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and iPad Mini. Here's everything that is most likely to arrive at Apple's October launch event.

MacBook Pro M4

The spotlight is expected to shine on the MacBook Pro M4, with Apple rumoured to unveil a new 14-inch model equipped with the M4 chip. The brand is also likely to unveil the high-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models that will feature the M4 Pro and M4 Max chips, respectively.

These models are anticipated to boast 16GB of RAM and three Thunderbolt 4 ports, an upgrade from the two Thunderbolt 3 ports available on the current models. The new 14-inch MacBook Pro is also rumoured to be available in a Space Black colour option.

Mac Mini M4

In addition to the M4 Mac models, Apple is also expected to showcase a redesigned Mac mini equipped with the M4 and M4 Pro chips. This next-generation Mac mini is likely to have a slimmer chassis and come with 16GB of RAM like the MacBook Pro, ensuring enhanced performance and efficiency.

iMac M4

The tech giant is also expected to refresh the iMac with the new M4 chip. Even this upcoming model is anticipated to come with a revamped Magic keyboard, mouse, and trackpad. Additionally, the new iMac could support 16GB of RAM, up from 8GB RAM on its predecessor.

iPad Mini

We could also see a new iPad Mini powered by the A18 chip and likely coupled with 8GB of RAM. This new model is also expected to support the latest Apple Pencil Pro.

Since all are speculations, it's better to take this piece of information with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for the official confirmations. Further, Gurman suggested Apple has a few more products in its pipeline including the M4-powered 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models, the iPhone SE 4 with Apple Intelligence, and updated 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models with new Magic Keyboards, which could see light on the first half of 2025.
