Nokia launches dual SIM Asha 305 in India

Nokia announced three Asha phones in June. Now, Asha 305, the first member of the Asha Touch series is launched. Asha 305 is a dual SIM touchscreen phone with decent features.

At the time of announcement, Nokia said that the Asha Touch series phones are designed to be entertainment centric. The 3 inch touchscreen phone has 40 preloaded games and expandable memory support of 32 GB to store plenty of media files.

Nokia Asha 305 is powered by a 1100 mAh battery that offers 14 hours talktime and 528 hours standby time. It is preloaded with the Nokia Maps application. It also comes integrated with IM services like Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger and Google Talk.

Nokia has launched a handful of dual SIM phones in India. The handsets like Asha 202, Asha 200, Asha 300 and Asha 303 were successful among the low and mid range consumers. It is expected that the Asha 305 will also be successful in the country.
