OnePlus Game Changer Might Result In A Drone

Earlier this month, OnePlus revealed that it would announce a brand new product in April, calling it a "game changer."

The company made it pretty clear that this wouldn't be a smartphone, a tablet, or a smartwatch, but didn't provide further details. However, now it looks like we know what the new device is.

During an AMA (ask me anything) session on Reddit, David Sanmartin, OnePlus' Digital Marketing Manager, responded to a question. He replied: "I'll give you a hint, the model name is DR-1 ;)". Moments later, the company's Global Director Carl Pei posted : "It's a dr-o-n-e. Get it? ;)". He also mentioned that DR-1 will go on sale in April but we will have to wait for bit more time to learn about the pricing.

It's not clear why OnePlus expects its drone to be a game changer or it might be just a gag and OnePlus one just wants to change the speculations floating around the net. . But, the Chinese company already has a product that can be seen as a game changer - the affordable, yet impressively powerful OnePlus One smartphone - so let's wait and see what happens in April.
