Online Retailer Newegg To Enter Indian Market Soon
At the Computex 2014 tech show held in Taipei, Newegg announced to expand its business to 6 other countries. The online retailer specializing in electronic goods will soon be launched in India, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland and Singapore. The company has already been running the business in the four countries including US, Canada, UK and Australia.
The expansion is part of the company's plans to go global, with Newegg also adding localized options such as translations to better serve these new markets. If you are unaware, Newegg is an online retailer of a variety of electronic goods, but they specialize in computer parts like processors, graphics cards and likewise. The company will ship orders from the US first, and will follow up with "a physical presence to serve local demand."

The company had earlier tried to venture into the Asian market by setting up the service in Malaysia but turned out to be failure as it didn't get much response from the customers.
Newegg's chief marketing officer Soren Mills says gaming and e-sports are the next big thing, and the company is in a position to take advantage of this. The company is still evaluating the use of Bitcoin for payments -- Mills said that Newegg has had a lot of requests from its customers, and that "it's certainly something we're considering and looking at carefully."
