Pixel and Pixel XL are no longer available on Google Store
The first generation Google Pixel and Pixel Xl have been pulled from the Google store and it seems that the device will no longer be sold on the company's website.
Google has recently taken off the Google Pixel and Pixel XL from the company's website. As per some reports from the web the first generation Google Pixel and Pixel Xl have been pulled from the Google store and it seems that the device will no longer be sold on the company's website.
The Google Pixel and Pixel XL, however, will be available for sale at the offline stores and is available with most of the retailers. So the users looking to buy the first generation Google Pixel and Pixel XL can get the device from offline stores. The device, however, is priced at around 40,000 which could be a bummer for the Google fans. At this moment there are other devices which offer better features and specifications at the same price range making the first generation Pixel devices a bit outdated.
Google might have taken off the first generation Pixel devices off the shelf from its website but they will continue to get support from Google. The first generation Pixel devices also got the Android P developer preview; this hints that the devices will more likely get the official update of Android P. Since we are discussing about the first generation of the Pixel devices, let's quickly have a look at what the device has to offer in terms of features and specs.
The Google Pixel XL was launched in October 2016. With 12.3MP at the rear, the device takes brilliant photos in bright light, low light and any light. The front camera houses 8MP, coming with light-sensitive 1.4-micrometre pixels for clearer photos in low light. You get crisp filming through Full HD video capture at 30fps. The smartphone features vivid cinematic display, with seamless glass aluminium body. The battery comes with fast charging technology, which lasts longer on single boost. There is crisp sound quality with single bottom firing speaker, adaptive audio amplifier and 3 microphones(2 front, 1 rear) with noise cancellation. The device boards RGB LED notification light. The Pixel XL is available in Black and Silver colours. Read more here.
