    The Google I/O developer conference is nearing and the whole world is expecting the unveiling of the new Android tablet, probably the Google Nexus. There will be a lot of excitement to see a hardware with the Google logo. There are many rumors regarding the Nexus tablet that is made by Google and Asus.

    The latest addition to the rumor fire is regarding Picasa, the image hosting and sharing service of Google. The photo that is alleged to be taken with the Asus Nexus 7 tablet have been uploaded on Picasa. We don't know if this is true but the EXIF data of the image suggests so. The image has a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels although it has been scaled down before uploading. There is nothing too surprising in the image. It looks like the ceiling of an office room.

    We have a lot of evidence that Google will be unveiling a 7 inch Nexus tablet that is made by Asus in June. But, this cannot confirm that the image is taken by the Nexus tablet as the EXIF data can be edited. So, the image that is on Picasa cannot be a hard evidence. We will have to wait till the Google I/O to know about the tablet.
