Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Launched in India Today, 16MP Galaxy Camera Coming Next Month

With the in-depth penetration of the Android OS into the smartphone and tablet arena, several manufacturers including Samsung and Nikon have come up with Android base cameras.
One such attempt made by the South Korean tech giant is the Galaxy Camera, which was showcased at the IFA expo in Berlin. Now, Samsung India has unveiled this camera during the release event of Galaxy Note 2.
Display: Galaxy Camera houses a 4.8 inch HD Super Clear LCD touchscreen display of 1280 x 720 pixel resolution.
Processor: The camera is powered by a 1.4 GHz processor.
OS: On the OS front, the Galaxy Camera is based on the Google Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS as the Galaxy Note 2.
Camera: Being a camera, the device sports a 16MP with 21x optical zoom and BSI CMOS sensor for better low light imaging capability.
Memory: On the storage front, Galaxy Camera has 8GB internal memory and a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB expandable memory.
Connectivity: It comes packed with connectivity features such as 3G and Wi-Fi.
Battery: Galaxy Camera is powered by a 1,650 mAh Li-ion battery.
